A blond, a brunette, and a redhead. . . 
are all stranded on an island twenty miles from the mainland. They have no ways to communications with anyone else. So the redhead decides that she'll try to swim back to the mainland. She swims five miles, gets tired,then drowns. The brunette decides that she will give it a try, so she swims ten miles, gets tired, then drowns. Then the blond decides that she's going to try to swim back, she swims nine-teen miles, gets tired, then swims back to the island.
